We can help you navigate the choices between surgery and therapy for tongue ties for patients of all ages
Our office is the only office in the Midwest that offer SmileLase and BabyLase services as either a stand alone procedure or in conjunction with careful and conservative surgical releases.
Our laser assisted non-surgical softening of tight tissues can help your child with nursing and guide them to better function
SmileLase is a laser assisted procedure developed with the objective of improving health and beauty while reducing pain and dysfunction of the head and neck for patients 2 and older
We deliver carefully sequenced therapeutic options for adults with tongue restrictions and sleep disordered breathing with:
Our office is dedicated to performing a thorough functional assessment with an infant feeding specialist prior to performing any treatment. Just as you use GPS to plan a journey, it is necessary to know both your starting point and your ending point before you are able to determine the best path to get to your destination. We feel that it is critical to know where we are (diagnosis and assessment) before we proceed in our journey (tongue tie release procedures).

New Patient Registration
We demand the complete, accurate and timely submission of your necessary paperwork to ensure that we meet the standard of care in providing health care services to you and your family.
Appointment Scheduling
When an appointment time is reserved for you, please consider that the time that has been scheduled is valuable. We reserve the right to apply broken appointment fees or collect a deposit for those who repeatedly do not appear for their appointments or cancel with shorter than the notice required in our paperwork.
Appointment deposits and reservations
We understand the challenges of traveling long distances and taking time from work and school for your appointments at our office. We also hope that you will value your longer appointment time reservations as you would a hotel room or rental car which requires a deposit to show your commitment to the financial arrangement
We respect your time
We commit ourselves fully to doing everything possible to avoid rescheduling your appointments and maintaining a timely schedule. There are times when we will need additional time than was originally scheduled to properly care for patients who are being treated in our office. We will ask you to understand if we are behind schedule and know that we will do the same for you in the event that additional time is required for your care.
Absolute requirements
We will strictly enforce our requirement for our patients to submit their necessary paperwork at least 48 business hours prior to their initial appointment. Without this commitment on the part of the patient, we do not have adequate time to prepare the many aspects of care necessary to provide the level of service that we feel is necessary to care for the often complex needs of our patients
We are a general dental office
Even though we provide highly specialized services, we are a general dental office. As a result, we are legally responsible for the entirety of the dental condition of all of our patients. Please be aware that we will absolutely be required to perform an initial dental examination prior to evaluating you for any dental appliance therapies that are unique to our office.
Please be aware that we may not accept your contracted medical or dental insurances. Our firm belief is that insurance coverage does not determine or dictate the care that we provide to our patients.
Our commitment is to do everything possible to maximize your dental experience in our office while minimizing your out of pocket dental expenses while being as straightforward as possible about our fees for services provided.
We provide additional levels of service that require additional levels of protection
We are proud members of the Pastoral Medical Association. This organization allows healthcare providers who are holistically minded to serve patients who seek better health and wellness through natural means. The legal separation of church and state allow us additional levels of medical-legal protection to provide the alternative health care services offered at Synergy Dental Solutions. We will ask all patients seeking ALF Therapy and non-surgical laser therapies to sign a memorandum of understanding for the PMA. More information on the PMA can be found at www.pmai.us

My infant daughter underwent multiple BabyLase treatments prior to her frenulectomy. I am certain this treatment plan prepared her body to be in an optimal state for the actual procedure. After the BabyLase appointments she was noticeably less tense and less fussy. Our breastfeeding journey improved significantly with the laser treatments alone. We could not be happier with our results and are truly grateful for Dr. Angie and ****
Edison was born via c section after turning breech during labor. He was severely tongue tied and majorly struggling at the breast with feeding. He was officially diagnosed and revised on day 4 although clearly not being in a stable condition. He tanked and we ended up in the PICU for 5 days due to dehydration. During that time, he refused to do anything at the breast and developed a strong oral aversion. After being released from the hospital and not knowing how to get him back to breast we found **** (woot woot)!!! Unfortunately, at that time we did not have Babylase and it was a grueling 3 months of work before Edison was breastfeeding.
Byron was born after 23 hours of labor and 6 1/2 hours of pushing. He was born in the military position and had a brachial plexus injury. He could not coordinate his suck and swallow and was very disorganized and frustrated at the breast. We did Babylase with him several times and noticed him becoming more engaged and organized for short periods of time at the breast. It seemed to turn the lights on and help expedite things. It was still a long journey but seeing how it helped with his all over body tension, fussiness and tongue function was amazing.
Amelia had a much better labor and delivery and came out ready to eat! She was tongue tied but very determined. But she quickly tired at the breast, fed very frequently, had a shallow latch, was losing weight and causing me extreme nipple pain. We weren’t able to do the revision for several weeks but thankfully were able to do Babylase twice in the weeks prior to the revision. After Babylase she had very noticeable improvements. Her latch and tongue function were so much improved, and my nipple pain went away. She still fed frequently but became more effective with her tongue function and started gaining weight. She also was so much more relaxed and happy. We did her revision at 3 weeks old and she just took off from there and is a chunky nursing champ.
Our experience was better than we ever imagined it could be. I knew my son was in great hands, everyone was gentle, kind and patient with him. I love that his first experience with a dentist was so positive for him. We can’t thank Dr Angie enough.
Working with***** and Dr Angie has been an enjoyable piece of a difficult experience with our sons tongue tie. This whole office has been very kind. I was very anxious about his procedure but he has done so well. I can’t thank you all enough.
“The explanation and personal attention before and after his procedure has been exceptional”.
My experience working with****** and Dr Angie has wonderful. They thoroughly explained the procedure and answered my questions and concerns with patience. The office is kept so clean and neat and the staff at the front desk are very friendly. I highly recommend Synergy Dental Solutions
My experience here has been very personalized. The staff has spent much time with me compared to other offices I have been to.
The warm and bright environment is instantly welcoming and calming. Dr. Angie and ***** both radiate such a positive and professional energy that instantly makes you feel comfortable. From the first visit before receiving treatment, I knew I wanted to return ASAP and refer as many people as I could, that would benefit from their care. I am anxious to see more results in Eliot, as the days go by from the wonderful care, we both received today. I hope that more dentists and dental offices become aware of the great benefits that stems from the care provided here and welcome the same care into their offices.
The professionalism is off the charts! I felt more like friends/family than a patient. The honest care is obvious. It's not about the quantity of money here, it's truly the quality of care. Thank you!!!"
